BBC World Service announces Emergency Radio Service for Gaza
It will provide listeners in Gaza with the latest information and developments as well as safety advice on where to access shelter, food and water supplies
The Gaza service will be broadcast on MW 639kHz for morning and evening episodes.

Israel has cut communication to and from Gaza. After Israel imposed an internet blackout and severed telecommunication links, Gazans have increasingly returned to radio transmission, as a last resort, to find out what’s going on around them.

MW List gave the power used for the 1900-2100 Al Arabiya FM broadcast on 639kHz started in July as 250kw. They’ve now updated their entry to include the Gaza Daily broadcasts as also 250kw.

Dalla pagina FB del MediumWaveCircle si apprende che sui 1287 kHz in onde medie con 50kW ha ripreso a trasmettere Israel Galei Tzahal. Viene inoltre confermata anche la riattivazione del trasmettitore sui 945 kHz con 100 kW. Entrambe le frequenze sono ricevibili anche nel nord Italia, per eventuali rapporti d’ascolto potete scrivere a radio@glz.co.il
